Visit to South Carolina

We visited G-ma and Pop in South Carolina a couple weeks ago. We hit a "blizzard" going through Atlanta, but we finally made it. It's amazing how a couple inches of snow can be so treacherous when there are no snow plows.

Snow, Snow, and More Snow

A couple weeks ago we got 6 inches of snow, which is a lot in Nashville. We took Isaac outside for a bit to see what he thought of all of it.

Crayons!

Isaac colored with crayons today for the first time. I had to emphasize that we color with crayons, not eat them.
You can kind of see the little crayon marks Isaac made. He even added some drool to his art creation

Snowy Christmas in Wisconsin

Long car ride to Wisconsin. We stayed overnight with some friends in Indianapolis, and were able to see some other friends in Chicago for a couple hours on the way.

There were some many presents for the kids. Toys everywhere!
Isaac tasting what might be in this package.
We toured the Sprecker brewery with Kristin and Adam
Grandma with the kiddos
We went to Family Funland with the kids. Isaac loved crawling through the tubes

Isaac Playing with Activity Table

Sorry it's upside down!

Thanksgiving

We had planned on going to South Carolina for Thanksgiving this year, but our plans changed. Luke came down with the flu 1 1/2 weeks before Thanksgiving. He recovered, and then Isaac became sick with a fever a week later. We assumed Isaac had the flu, but it turned out to be Roseola after we had canceled our travel plans. Luke was able to go to Atlanta for the day though, and have Thanksgiving dinner with his family.
We had our Japanese students over for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner (thanks to Kroger).

We took our annual trip to Gaylord Opryland Hotel to see all the lights

Isaac got an early Christmas present from Grandpa and G-ma. He did a great job opening the package. It was a singing dog named Scout.
