Thanks Aunt Tammy, Uncle Donovan, and Cousin Maddy for the great trucks and cars and airplane.  Micah loved them!

Happy Halloween!

Isaac wanted to be Thomas the Train this year for Halloween, and Micah got stuck being a giraffe because the costume had been too big for Isaac last year.

So cute in the conductor hat!

Micah enjoying being a giraffe.....

....not enjoying the head dress that went along with the costume

A Fire Truck Birthday

The boys had a joint birthday party this year.  We toured the firehouse and got to sit in the trucks. The kids had a great time!  Isaac kept running around the trucks.

Micah loves to talk about fire trucks, but he wasn't too keen on sitting in one.  He's all talk

Whenever you ask Micah what he wants for his birthday he says, "eat cake".  He got his wish!

My sweet friend Megan met us at the park and took some great pictures of the boys.  She's got some talent!

Showing the diaper... my boys have problems keeping their pants on due to lack of butt

Haiti Bound

I recently went to Haiti on a missions trip through the Hands and Feet Project.  I was there for a week and we spent most of the time at the orphanage hanging out with the children.  I attached a picture of the worship service that the kids had on Thursday evening.  Another picture I posted was of the group of guys at the orphanage that liked to play soccer every evening.  While we were there we also tore down a wall that the orphanage needed to be demolished.  Our group also spent some time spending money at local shops and restaurants to help the local economy.  It was a hot week, but God was in it and the kids enjoyed our visit. Thanks to all who supported me on my trip and prayed for our team as we were there.

Birthday Week

It was birthday week in the Aull house.  First Isaac turned 4 years old and I turned 30 a day later.  My parents were in town so we were busy doing a some tourist things around town (pictures to follow) and accomplishing some projects around the house.
My parents brought a school project from elementary school that I had written when I was 10 years old.  My goals that I had wanted to accomplish by the age of 30 were: have a car, a house, a good job, and a cat.  I have accomplished the first 2, now am a stay at home mom, and definently do not like cats anymore.  I guess at that age it was not on my agenda to have a husband or kids.

Isaac has food allergies, so cake is often laborsome to make.  He loves raspberries more than cake though, so we just stuck his candles in a big bowl.

Luke was sweet to throw me a suprise birthday party the night before my bday.  It was fun to see friends!  Thanks to all who came.
My mom and I did a painting class at Sips n' Strokes the night of my birthday.  We both aren't artists at all, but it was a lot of fun and I thought our paintings turned out pretty well.  Luke even said he'd hang my picture in his office at work.

County Fair Time!

We took our annual trip to the county fair a couple weeks ago.  Our favorite part is seeing all the animals.  They had a great petting zoo where the kids could pet all the farm animals and even hold a chicken.  We are going to Sea World in a week so we decided to wait to do rides until then.  Plus, fairs in Tennessee in August = HOT!  Waiting in lines did not sound appealing.

Trying to get my kids to love chickens as much as I do.  Too bad Luke isn't that easy to convince.  They recently made it legal in the city of Nashville to have a couple pet chickens.  Maybe one day....
