A Snowy Christmas in Wisconsin

We spent this Christmas in Wisconsin.  It's been 3 winters since we have been up there, and the cold was shocking!  I forgot how cold it really is.  We have some cold days here in Nashville, but there isn't snow all around and it is not the same bitter cold.  We took Isaac and Micah outside to see the barn and snow.  Both Isaac and Micah fell into a snow bank within a couple minutes of being outside, touched the snow with their hands and started wailing.  Not quite as exciting up close.  We had a great time seeing family and friends though and got to do some fun things with the kids.  Micah's Christmas break highlights were all the cool cars and trucks he got, drinking grandpa's chocolate milk, and seeing the big red barn.  Isaac enjoyed Kristin's "puppy dogs" as he called them, getting a stretchy tunnel thing for Christmas, and seeing the tigers at the zoo.

We braved the cold for an adventure at the zoo

Snow pants!

My sisters and Aunt Nancy took a painting class downtown.  It was a lot of fun!
